About Dr. Peterson

Medicine for the
Long Game

Dr. Robert Peterson has spent his career helping patients combat aging, first as a plastic surgeon and now as a longevity expert. With a background in engineering and pharmacology, he is now focused on how we age, what can be done about it, and what gives the most “bang for the buck.”

My Story & Philosophy

Thirty years making sense of anti-aging medicine.

For 30 years, I've studied the science of aging to separate lasting advances from passing fads. What I've learned is simple: every system ages differently, and the weakest link matters most. You are only as young as your oldest part.

That philosophy shaped my practice: the Athena Textbook of Longevity provides the scientific framework, while Ningen Dock and our Overflowing Buckets Model turn it into a practical approach: detect problems early, prioritize high-impact interventions, and match advanced treatments to each patient's goals.

You are only as young as your oldest parts.
